Pfizer Pharmaceutical

Proposed Project for the MSU Industrial Math Students

Determine the maximum error allowed in an analytical method that is designed to measure a drug product with a certain predefined specification.

For example, if the acceptance criteria on a drug product is within 90-110% of label claim, what is the maximum error allowed in a method designed to measure the drug with this specification with a 95% confidence level. Develop a spreadsheet where the user would input the specifications for a product and obtain the maximum error allowed in the analytical method.
