Education Programs
An important component of the Center is to strengthen our successful professional program. The professional Masters program in industrial mathematics (proMSIM) at Michigan State has become a flagship of the nationwide movement to resurrect the Masters degree in science as a professional degree, filling the increasing need for science-trained professionals in management. The proMScIM program at MSU combines training in graduate mathematics and statistics, projects with local industry, cognates, a certificate in business and communication, and a project defense.
