## Microsoft 365 (aka Spartan 365), including OneDrive (aka Spartan Drive) and Teams
* Powered by Microsoft 365
* https://tech.msu.edu/technology/collaborative-tools/spartan365/

## VPN
* Access to some IT systems and applications are limited to campus connections. When working
off-campus, use the Virtual Private Network (VPN) software to connect securely to the campus
network. Details and instructions are located at https://vpn.msu.edu/

## Multi-Factor Authentication
* Some applications – for example, the MSU Enterprise Business System (EBS) and the VPN –
require you to setup and use multi-factor authentication for additional security. You can receive
text messages to your cell phone, or download the Okta Verify app for faster push notifications.
For more details go to https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/setting-up-the-okta-verify-app

## Security Tips
* https://secureit.msu.edu
* Watch out for “phishing” emails and other scams! MSU IT will never ask for your password,
social security number, or other sensitive information
* When in doubt, or if something seems a bit off, just ask! Better to be overly cautious
* If a known phishing email is received, please forward to abuse@msu.edu

## IT Equipment Purchases
* Please see Jeremy Lounds for all IT equipment purchases

## Book a Room (aka Room Scheduling / Reservations)

## Non-classroom Projectors and Zoom cart for teleconferencing
* If you need to borrow a projector for a conference room, or a small classroom that does not
have a projector, please see Jeremy Lounds
* There are two portable carts with a TV, webcam and mic for teleconferencing called the “Zoom
cart”. It can be reserved for use at a specific time in the same way a room is booked (see above)
using the name Math.ZoomCart or Math.ZoomCart2.
* Zoom is the MSU teleconferencing service. Read more at https://msu.zoom.us

## Cloud Storage
* All MSU accounts automatically come with an associated Google and Spartan Drive (OneDrive) account.
* With Google, storage space is limited, so please use Spartan Drive for file storage!
