# **How to Install Math Department Printers (Windows)**
_**Important:**_ if using wifi, connect to network **MSUnet 3.0** or **[eduroam](https://wifi.msu.edu)**
## Option A: Quick Start
(Supports most devices, including phones and tablets)
> If you do _not_ need to use paper stapling or print in color, the fastest way to get started is to open https://print.math.msu.edu/setup and follow the instructions for your detected
> operating system or device type.
## Option B: Full Driver Install (Windows)
> If you need to use paper stapling or print in color, please use the instructions below.
1) Important: if using wifi, connect to network MSUnet 3.0 or [eduroam](https://wifi.msu.edu)
2) Right-click on the start menu and click “Run” (or press Win + R)

3) Type in \\\35.8.72.23 and click Ok

4) If you are not logged in with your MSU account, you will be prompted to log in. Enter your
MSU login information in the form “campusad\your-msu-netid-here” as the username and
enter your MSU password

5) Double-click on the folder “printer-drivers”
6) Copy file “Math-Print registry change required” to your desktop
7) Double-click the file you just copied
8) Click on “Run” to confirm you trust the author (Math IT team)
9) Click on “Yes” when prompted if you wish to change the registry
10) **Reboot before continuing below**
11) Right click on Math-Print and a menu will drop down, then click “Connect…” and then wait
patiently - it can take up to 2 minutes to find and install the driver behind the scenes

12) If you are prompted to enter your password again, remember to enter your username in
the format “campusad\your-msu-netid”

13) Open your Settings app (the gear icon in your start menu)
14) Click “Devices” (or “Bluetooth & devices”)
15) Click on “Printers and Scanners” and verify that “Math-Print” appears
